Density Balances (0.1 mg to 10 kg) The CONTECH Density Balances are high-precision laboratory instruments designed for accurate density determination of solids, liquids, and plastic granules using the Archimedes Principle. As a leading manufacturer, supplier, and exporter of density balances, CONTECH integrates advanced Electro Magnetic Force Compensation (EMFC) technology with intelligent software to deliver exceptional weighing accuracy, repeatability, and stability for laboratory and industrial applications. The balances incorporate a high-performance ADC circuit with inbuilt temperature compensation, providing stable measurements with a resolution of up to 6 million counts. All calibration and adjustment parameters are programmable to ensure consistent performance and compensate for minor assembly variations. The CONTECH Density Balance is supplied with a Density Determination Kit, available in two configurations: one mounted directly on the weighing pan and another using a weigh-below attachment. The kit includes a density weighing pan assembly, stainless steel beaker stand, glass beaker, optional sinker for low-density materials, and dedicated density determination software for automatic calculations. The instrument allows users to program the density of liquids other than water and the temperature of water for precise density calculations. For multiple sample analysis, the balance stores the weights measured in air and water separately, allowing users to review the density of each individual sample directly on the display. Optional software is also available for density determination of liquids and air release value testing for oil samples. The CONTECH Density Balance is also ideal for plastic granule density testing. Using the Archimedes Principle, granules are first weighed in air and then immersed in water using a stainless steel fine mesh container with lid. The built-in software automatically calculates and displays the polymer density, and the results can be printed using an optional printer connected to the balance. Designed for precision, reliability, and ease of operation, the CONTECH Density Balances are widely used in plastic industries, pharmaceutical laboratories, chemical industries, research institutes, universities, quality control laboratories, and material testing facilities.
