These crane scales combine a heat-insulating shield, wireless weight transmission, and a desktop indicator to provide safe, accurate, and reliable weighing in industries such as steel plants, foundries, forging units, metal processing, mining, construction, ports, warehouses, and heavy engineering industries. The crane scale features a heavy-duty aluminium die-cast enclosure with a specially designed heat-insulating shield, allowing normal operation at a minimum distance of 2 metres from heat radiation sources up to 1500°C. This makes it ideal for weighing hot metal products, castings, billets, and other high-temperature materials. Unlike standard crane scales, the CCS series transmits weighing data wirelessly to a desktop indicator located up to 50 metres away, allowing operators to monitor weights safely from a remote location. The crane scale itself includes a power indication LED, while all weighing controls, weight display, and operational functions are available on the wireless desktop indicator. The desktop indicator features an RS-232 interface for computer connectivity and supports storage of up to 100 weight records for easy documentation and analysis. The crane scale includes an internal battery and charger for the load cell and wireless transmitter, ensuring dependable operation during industrial use.
